In a two-page motion filed Friday morning, before the Sandiganbayan Special Division, Estradas lawyer - Rene Saguisag - said the deposed Philippine leader had been recently complaining of "intense and severe back pains" and would like to have doctors monitor his condition. Turning 70 on April 19, Estrada should have regular medical checkups, Saguisag said. He also noted that in December 2004, Estrada was treated for slip discs at the lower back at the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital where he also had his knee cap replacement operation. "On Monday, April 2, 2007, we will present a doctor to justify his confinement during the Holy Week at Asian Hospital wherehe (Estrada) may also undergo a thorough executive check-up, advisable for one about to start his eighth decade," Saguisag.

Dr. Dolly said, "It is an amazing time to be living, and there have been some amazing changes in optometry in the past 30 years." He closed his presentation by listing "Dolly's Top Five Changes in Eye Care": the use of soft lenses; the use of progressive vision lenses; integration of electronic mechanical equipment with computers; the use of medical lasers in eye care; and, the most phenomenal change in eye care, in Dr.
